I love Elsie, since she's a cow, but we need someone who can manage the tribe.

I'lm willing to do it. Anyone else?

    I vote for you wholeheartedly!

    the problem is as far as I understand it the current moderator (elsie) would need to "give" you the reigns.
    and she is MIA.

      That's one way to transfer the moderator position. the other is to start a thread nominating someone, or volunteering, then encouraging members to vote. After a week or two, you then forward a link to the thread to Tribe admin. They transfer the moderator position to the person the members want to have it.

      I'd have nominated you, Antoine, but you already have to moderate a couple of tribes and I have one very small one I moderate and transfered moderatorship of the big one I started to someone else, so I'm up for it.

        Yeah, good luck with that. People have been requesting moderator changes in worthwhile tribes for months to no avail.

          That's because if you live in the bay area it'd be old news to hear that Tribe is on the verge of collapsing in on its self.

          Unfortunate but true from informed accounts.

          People *might* consider porting over any emails, documents and images they have here to another site should Tribe go down in the near future as it's quite possible that they could lose for good those things they've been saving on this board.

                In the meantime I ask all real PETA members on this tribe (whether they agree with my attempt to handle the trolls or not)

                to make this tribe about PETA again.

                right now the trolls are winning because the tribe is about them and me and how I am an asshole and they are assholes and so on.

                this tribe is not about me and even less about Badger or Mickey....it's supposed to be about the animals, let's try to make it about the animals and how to help them again.

                Please post as many new threads as you can ABOUT animal RIGHTS and about PETA actions, demos in your area etc...
                please.

                everyone! let's win our tribe back.
